Osborne Park is a suburb of Western Australia 's capital city Perth . It was named after William Osborne, who owned an abbattoir and land along Wanneroo Road . The suburb is divided by the Mitchell freeway and it was first settled by Chinese market gardners before a significant number of Italian immigrants moved to the area in the 1920s.
