Alice Springs is the second largest town in the Northern Territory. It has a population of approx. 27,000 and is often referred to as simply "The Alice". Alice Springs is known outside the region because of its proximity to Uluru (Ayers Rock), one of Australia's best-known natural landmarks. Although Alice Springs may be far away from other cities in Australia, but it is an adventure to fly into Alice Springs, rent a car and drive on a scenic route towards either Sydney, Perth or Darwin.
